What big game is available?

Red Stags are the most sought-after big game.

The red stag was brought to Argentina from Europe in the early 1900s (or over a hundred years ago, or in the early 20th century) and has adapted well to Argentina’s diverse landscapes. In the last decade, it has become a sought-after trophy for hunters.

In addition to red stags, you may also have the opportunity to pursue axis deer, water buffalo, wild boar, blackbuck, fallow deer, feral goats and sheep, and mouflon, depending on the area.

Our Prime Hunting Regions

Patagonia: Known for its stunning natural beauty, Patagonia offers vast open spaces and varied terrain, perfect for stalking red stag in their natural habitat.

Fly fishing and trout fishing are other great activities that could be easily combined on the same trip.

Córdoba: This area is renowned for its rolling hills and lush vegetation, providing excellent conditions for both hunting and stunning scenery. The hunt will be conducted on horseback

La Pampa: The landscape is covered by thick bush and calden’s forests which makes the hunt challenging as you will need to make a perfect stalk to approach your prey at close distance.

Season

The hunting season for big game varies by province and species. Most of it are from May to mid December.

The red stag season is from March to July, although the best time is during the rutting season, typically from March to April, when stags are more active and vocal, making them easier to locate.

Included: Ground transportation from and to Cordoba International Airport. World Class double occupancy lodging. You will receive all meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All beverages include a selection of the finest Argentine Wines, local beers and local hard liquor. Professional hunting guides, skinning and preparation oftrophies, full use of the ranch.

Not Included:

Prime Rut Fee $150 per day per hunter (from March 15th to April 15th).
Hunting license $65. – Perday.
Gun rental $300 (for the full hunt, includes one box of ammo).
Dove Shooting: Shells $12.95 per box.
Hunting Licenses $65 per day.
Gun rentals $75 per day.
Pigeon shooting if requested $280/shoot (limit 80 pigeons).
MixedBag: Hunting Licenses $130; Gun Rental $70 per day.

All gratuities for lodge and field staff. Scheduled airfaresrequired by itinerary from point of origin through return; laundry/dry cleaning and other items of a personalnature. Baggage overweight charges, personal baggage insurance, expenses incurred obtaining passport, departure taxes, gun import, expediting documentation for shipping and freight on returning trophies.

Liability/ Insurance: While every effort will be made to safeguard you and your property, no liability or responsibility is accepted for any accident, injury or illness or for any loss of property during your safari. You arenot covered by insurance for the duration of the safari. By booking and paying a deposit for the safari, you aredeemed to have accepted these liability and insurance clauses. We strongly recommend you Global Rescue.

Deposit: A deposit of $2,000.- is required to confirm the hunt date, balance due to be paid 45 days priorarrival. Additional item is to be paid in cash (US Dollars) or with personalcheck(2.5% fee) Credit cards are not accepted. Pre-book trophy must be hunted, swapping to a different speciesis not allowed.
